Day 3: Etosha National Park to Swakopmund
Swakopmund is a town by the sea known for its wide streets and old German-style buildings. It is near strange desert land. Founded in 1892, it was once the main harbor for German Southwest Africa. Swakopmund feels very German but also has Namibian culture. It is a popular place for adventure and relaxing by the cool sea breeze.
Your planned activities include visiting a museum, quad biking, sandboarding, and going to the aquarium.
You can also choose to take a boat cruise, go on a hot air balloon ride, tour the desert, try skydiving, or visit the Desert Living Museum.
Day 4: Swakopmund to Namib-Naukluft Park (Sossusvlei)
After breakfast, you will drive toward Sossusvlei. You will go deep into the Namib Desert to reach the large dune fields in the west. The long dusty roads and open farmlands show the vastness of rural Namibia and lead you to the amazing dunes.
You will have a sunset drink at Elim Dune and spend the night at Sesriem Campsite.
