Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
You will meet and greet our company representative either at the airport or at your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing about your 3-Day Serengeti Wildlife Safari, you will start your journey to Serengeti National Park. You will travel on a road near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. This path allows for animal sightings along the way even before you reach the park.
You will arrive in time for lunch. After eating, you will go for an afternoon game drive in the park. The Serengeti National Park is the best-known wildlife sanctuary in Africa. It has over 3 million large mammals. On the way, you will pass the Olduvai Gorge. This is where some of the earliest remains of human history were found. The park contains vast herds of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, and other antelopes. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at your camp or lodge.
Day 2: Full Day Game Drive
You will have an early morning breakfast before you start a whole day game drive. This is the main part of your 3-Day Serengeti Wildlife Safari. The park is famous for the massive annual migration of wildebeests and zebras. These animals move in large groups to find fresh grass during the dry seasons.
Other animal species found in the Serengeti include lions, rhinos, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes. You can also see crocodiles, hippos, giraffes, impalas, and baboons. There are over 500 species of birds to see as well. You will have a break after the mid-morning game drive to have your lunch. Then, you will continue your game viewing adventure. Day 3: Back to Arusha
The early bird gets the worm. Wake up for an early morning game drive before breakfast. This is a great chance to spot big cats and other predators while they are hunting. You can also watch the park come to life and see the beautiful morning sunrise over the flat plains.
After the drive, you will go back to your camp for a delicious breakfast and check out. You will have one last chance to see animals as you leave the park for Arusha. You will be dropped at the airport for your flight or at your hotel. This ends your 3-Day Serengeti Wildlife Safari.
