3 days Etosha wildlife safari

Etosha National Park is a popular place for visitors to Namibia because of the many interesting things to see. It is different from other parks because of its semi-arid climate. This dry climate helps many plants and animals grow well, especially those that can survive in such conditions.

The sand dunes in the park are also special and provide a nice background for photos and videos. They add more value to the trip.

Etosha is home to the Big Five animals, and during the three-day safari, travelers will have a chance to see them on guided game drives. Visitors will also see other rare animals that live in dry places, such as the aardvark, gemsbok, springbok, Namaqua chameleon, bat-eared fox, aardwolf, and oribi.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Windhoek to Etosha National Park – Afternoon Game Drive

When you arrive at Windhoek Airport, a tour guide will pick you up and drive you to Etosha National Park. The drive takes about 4 hours. When you reach the park, you will drive slowly and may get a chance to see some rare animals along the way.

You will continue to the lodge where you can relax after the journey. A well-prepared lunch will be served.

In the afternoon, you will go for a game drive in the flat open areas of the park. You may see animals like gemsbok, oryx, oribi, bat-eared fox, leopard tortoise, and aardwolf. These animals are well suited to the dry climate of Etosha and are found here in good numbers.

Later in the evening, you will return to the lodge to relax in your room. Dinner will be served and you will spend the night there.

At midday, you will return to the lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, you will go on another game drive. This time, you will look for rare birds that live in the park, such as violet-eared waxbills, martial eagles, barn owls, lanner falcons, red-billed teals, sunbirds, and palm swifts. You will also see some interesting plants like thorn shrub and tree savanna.

Take photos to remember your experience in the dry plains of Etosha.

After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight rest.
