Our 12-Day Classic Namibia Guided Safari takes you to the most famous places in Namibia. You can also request to add more places if you wish. We are flexible, and this can be arranged for individuals or groups.

Day 1: Windhoek
When you arrive, your guide and a representative from People’s Tours and Safaris will welcome you to Namibia, the land of the brave. You will be transferred to your first accommodation.
After resting from your flight, your guide will take you on a short city tour of Windhoek, visiting key historical sites.
In the evening, your guide will join you for dinner at one of the most popular restaurants in Windhoek, where he will give you a detailed briefing about your safari. Dinner is booked at Joe’s Beer House.
Day 2: Windhoek to Kalahari Desert
After breakfast at Vondelhof Guesthouse, your guide will meet you at 10:00 a.m. and drive you southeast to the Kalahari Desert, arriving at Kalahari Anib Lodge in time for lunch.
You will have time to relax before going on a nature drive in an open game vehicle with the lodge guide. You’ll enjoy the peaceful desert air and see the red dunes.
After the sundowner, you return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Stampriet (Kalahari Desert) to Namib Naukluft Park
After breakfast, you will travel to one of Namibia’s most popular spots, the Namib Naukluft National Park. Lunch will be served along the way. You will reach Namib Desert Lodge in the mid-afternoon and stay for two nights.
Depending on the time, your guide may take you to a nearby attraction or nature drive. You will also visit Sesriem Canyon for great views into the gorge.
After returning, you’ll freshen up for dinner and receive information about the next morning’s activity.
Day 4: Namib Naukluft Park (Sossusvlei)
Early in the morning, after coffee/tea and rusks, your guide will take you to Sossusvlei in the Namib Naukluft Park. Leaving early helps you reach the entrance quickly and enjoy the soft morning light for photos.
Climbing the highest dune, Big Daddy, is a great experience. After exploring Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, and the surrounding dunes, you will have a picnic brunch in the shade of a camelthorn tree.
You’ll return to the lodge for a late lunch. If you didn’t visit Sesriem Canyon the day before, you can go in the late afternoon. The rest of the day is free before dinner and rest.
Day 5: Namib Naukluft Park to Swakopmund
Today, you will drive northwest through the desert landscape of the Namib Naukluft National Park, passing the Ghaub and Kuiseb Canyons and crossing the Kuiseb Pass.
You will reach the coast at Walvis Bay, then continue to Swakopmund. You’ll enjoy the cool sea breeze for the next two nights. In the afternoon, explore the town on foot before dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 6: Swakopmund to Walvis Bay and Back
This morning, you will take part in an exciting activity at Walvis Bay. After checking in at 8:00 a.m., your local guide will brief you, then take you on a half-day Sandwich Harbour tour from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
After the tour, your guide will meet you at the Waterfront to return to Swakopmund. Lunch will be on the way. The rest of the day is free.
If you haven’t already, you can explore more of the town on foot. You’ll freshen up for dinner and rest for the night.
Day 7: Swakopmund to Damaraland
Today, you will travel north and east into Damaraland, enjoying the changing scenery. Lunch will be along the way. You will pass Namibia’s highest mountain, Brandberg (2,573 meters), and enjoy the wide views and wildlife.
You’ll arrive at a lodge built among large granite boulders. If time allows, your guide will take you to nearby attractions like the Twyfelfontein rock engravings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
If not today, there will be time tomorrow before heading to Oppi Koppi Rest Camp in Kamanjab.
Day 8: Damaraland to Kamanjab (Himba Village)
After breakfast, you’ll continue to Oppi Koppi Rest Camp. Along the way, you’ll stop to see the Petrified Forest, about 42 km from Khorixas Rest Camp. Lunch will be served on the road.
After checking in, you will go with your guide to visit a Himba village, where a local translator will help you understand the culture. After the visit, return to the lodge for dinner and rest.
Day 9: Kamanjab to Etosha National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Etosha National Park. You’ll arrive early in the afternoon, settle in, and have a light lunch. Later, go on a private afternoon game drive with your guide to visit popular waterholes.
You may see predators and other animals like zebras, giraffes, elephants, rhinos, and antelopes. Return to the resort before the gates close at sunset.
After dinner, you can relax while watching animals at the floodlit waterhole before resting.
Day 10: Etosha National Park
Today is a full day of game viewing. After an early breakfast, set off with your guide to explore more of Etosha National Park. Early morning is a good time to see predators and other wildlife.
If lucky, you might spot some hunters with their catch. Lunch will be served during the drive. Keep looking for animals as you return to Okaukuejo.
You’ll reach the resort before sunset, just in time to enjoy the best hour at the Okaukuejo Waterhole. After dinner, relax and watch the animals come and go.
Day 11: Etosha to Windhoek
After breakfast, begin the drive back to Windhoek. As you exit the park, you may spot more animals. On the way, if time allows, you’ll stop at the woodcraft market in Okahandja for last-minute shopping.
Lunch is on the way. You’ll arrive in Windhoek in the late afternoon and be dropped off at your accommodation. If you didn’t do the city tour earlier, you can do it now.
Later, freshen up for dinner at a well-known restaurant and relax. Your guide will tell you the time for your airport transfer the next day.
Day 12: Departure
After breakfast, your guide will collect you and transfer you to the airport. You’ll say your goodbyes and end your wonderful Namibia safari.
