During this safari, you will spend many days at Baobab Avenue and experience many new things. You will see unique wildlife such as baobab trees, the sacred baobab, lemurs, reptiles, and other animals in Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park.
You will visit different villages, meet local people, and learn about their culture and daily life.
Day 1: Arrival & Welcome
Your arrival at the airport starts your new adventure. We will be there to meet you, holding a sign with your name. After picking you up, you will drive to your hotel in Antananarivo.
There, you will get a special briefing about your safari and answers to any questions you have. You will spend the night at a hotel in Antananarivo.
Day 2: Queen’s Palace & Travel to Antsirabe
After a good breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Queen’s Royal Palace to learn about Madagascar’s monarchy. Then you will visit the market to see colorful products and understand the Malagasy way of life.
After this, you will drive to Antsirabe. On the way, you will stop at Ambatolampy to visit Madagascar’s Pot Factory.
In the evening, you will arrive in Antsirabe and check into your hotel for the night.
Day 3: City Tour & Travel to Morondava
Today you will tour Antsirabe city and visit the Horn of Zebu factory. Then you will travel to Morondava. On the way, you will see the southwest landscapes, many villages, and local people.
You will also see many zebus and baobab trees. When you arrive, you will check into your hotel for the night.
Day 4: Baobab Alley & Journey to Bekopaka
After breakfast, you will drive to Bekopaka, the gateway to Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park. You will pass through Baobab Alley and stop briefly to enjoy the area.
Then continue to Bekopaka, crossing two rivers by ferry boats. You will have lunch in Belo sur Tsiribihina after the first ferry.
Before reaching Bekopaka, you will cross the Manambolo River by ferry.
After the last ferry, you will drive a few minutes to Orchidee Du Bemaraha Hotel for the night.
Day 5: Explore Big & Small Tsingy
Start your day with a good breakfast. Then you will visit the big Tsingy to enjoy the nature and see animals like lemurs, chameleons, night lemurs, and ring-tailed mongooses.
You will have a picnic lunch in the middle of the rock forest. In the afternoon, you can explore the small Tsingy or choose to relax by the pool with a cold drink.
After a full day, you will rest comfortably at Orchidee Du Bemaraha Hotel in Bekopaka.
Day 6: Sacred Baobab & Sunset at Baobab Alley
After breakfast, you will travel back to Morondava. On the way, you will visit the sacred baobab and the “in love baobab,” two large trees that have grown together.
This tree is a symbol of love and many couples come here to renew their vows. Then you will see the most famous sunset in Madagascar at Baobab Alley.
These baobabs have stood for over 800 years and are a popular attraction. After sunset, you will continue to Morondava and check into your hotel for the night.
Day 7: Travel Back to Antsirabe
After breakfast, you will return to Antsirabe. On the way, you will see many villages and farmers working in rice fields. You will also enjoy the half-desert landscapes and mountains.
When you arrive in Antsirabe, you will check into the Royal Palace Hotel for the night.
Day 8: Return to Antananarivo & Departure
After breakfast, you will drive back to Antananarivo. On the way, you will enjoy the last views of the beautiful landscapes and green highlands. When you reach Antananarivo, you will go straight to the airport.
You will have at least two hours before your flight. You will say goodbye to Madagascar, Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park, and the beautiful baobabs.
The memories of this safari will stay with you forever.
