This tour includes Andasibe National Park, Baobab Avenue, Kirindy Forest Reserve, Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park, Ranomafana National Park, Anja Community Reserve, Isalo National Park, and Reniala Park. You will also enjoy snorkeling and diving on the beach in Ifaty. Your tour starts in Antananarivo.
Day 1: Arrival in Antananarivo
We will meet you at the airport with your name on a sign. We will take you to your hotel and give you a full briefing about your trip. We will also answer all your questions.
You will stay overnight at Chalet des Roses Hotel or a similar place.
Day 2: City Tour and Transfer to Andasibe
After breakfast, you will go on a city tour. You will visit the Antananarivo market and take a short walk around the Queen’s Palace to learn about the history of Madagascar.
Then, you will travel to the Andasibe region. You will see hills, forests, and villages along the way and stop for lunch.
After checking into your hotel, you will rest before going on a night walk to see lemurs, frogs, and chameleons.
Day 3: Explore Andasibe – Mantadia National Park and Vakona Reserve
Spend the whole day at the park. It has thick forests with moss, ferns, and many orchids. You will see several lemur species, including the Indri-Indri, Diademed Sifaka, Common Brown Lemur, Bamboo Lemur, and Sportive Lemur.
The park is also home to many birds and plants. In the afternoon, visit Vakona Reserve to play with lemurs and see crocodiles, ducks, and other birds. Stay overnight at Andasibe Lemurs Lodge.
Day 4: Reptile Park Visit & Travel to Antsirabe
After breakfast, you will visit a reptile park with chameleons, geckos, snakes, crocodiles, frogs, butterflies, and lemurs. Then, you will pass through Antananarivo and take National Road 7.
You will stop in Ambatolampy to see a pottery factory and have lunch. After reaching Antsirabe, check into your hotel and relax. You will stay at Vatolahy Hotel.
Day 5: Visit Factories and Drive to Morondava
After breakfast, visit the Zebu Horn factory and miniature workshops. Then drive to Morondava. On the way, enjoy the views of villages, people, zebus, and baobabs.
Stay overnight at Vezo Beach Hotel or a similar hotel.
Day 6: Kirindy Forest & Night Walk
Leave Morondava after breakfast and drive to Kirindy Forest. You will see animals, birds, and the famous fossa. You will pass through Baobab Avenue and stop for photos.
In the evening, go on a night walk to see night lemurs, sleeping birds, and geckos. Stay overnight at Relais de Kirindy Hotel.
Day 7: Visit Kirindy Forest and Travel to Bekopaka
After breakfast, explore Kirindy Forest to see lemurs, the fossa, and birds. Then travel to the entrance of Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park in Bekopaka. You will pass villages and cross two rivers by ferry.
Have lunch after the first ferry and continue your journey. Cross the second river and check in at Orchidee du Bemaraha Hotel in Bekopaka.
Day 8: Discover Tsingy de Bemaraha National Park
Spend the day exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Cathedral, the Viewpoint, and the Hanging Bridge. You will see Sifaka Lemurs, Common Brown Lemurs, birds, and maybe even a fossa.
You will also see native plants. After lunch in the park, you can either continue exploring or relax at your hotel. Stay overnight at Orchidee de Bemaraha Hotel.
Day 9: Return to Morondava & Baobab Sunset
After breakfast, drive back to Morondava. On the way, stop at the ‘In Love Baobab’ trees. In the evening, enjoy the sunset at Baobab Alley. These trees are over 800 years old. After the sunset, return to Morondava and stay overnight at Vezo Beach Hotel or a similar place.
Day 10: Drive Back to Antsirabe
After breakfast, drive back to Antsirabe. You will pass by schools and villages and see the dry landscape. Stay overnight at Vatolahy Hotel in Antsirabe.
Day 11: City Tour & Transfer to Ranomafana
Wake up early, have breakfast, and go on a city tour. Visit the Zebu Horn workshop and a semi-precious stone workshop. Enjoy a rickshaw ride. Continue on National Road 7 and see terraced rice fields.
In Ambositra, stop at a wood-carving factory. Then continue to Ranomafana. In the evening, take a night walk to see frogs, chameleons, and lemurs. Stay overnight at Centrest Hotel.
Day 12: Full Day at Ranomafana National Park
Spend the day in the rain-forest. You will see many lemurs, birds, plants, and waterfalls. Later, swim in the natural spring pool or visit the botanical garden to see chameleons. Stay overnight at Centrest Hotel or a similar place.
Day 13: Visit Anja Park & Drive to Ranohira
After breakfast, drive to Anja Park. See many Ringtail Lemurs and chameleons like Oustalet’s Chameleon. After lunch, continue to Ranohira, the gateway to Isalo National Park. Stay overnight at Satrana Lodge Hotel or similar.
Day 14: Explore Isalo National Park
After breakfast, visit La Placita Naturelle and Namaza Canyon. See rock formations and learn about the Bara tribe. You may see Ringtail Lemurs and birds. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the blue or black pool.
After your hike, return to your hotel. Stay overnight in Ranohira at Satrana Lodge or similar.
Day 15: Drive to Ifaty with Stops
After breakfast, drive along National Road 7. Stop to see Mahafaly tombs and baobabs. Go on a walking safari to spot Verreaux’s Sifaka Lemurs, Hubbert’s Sportive Lemurs, and reptiles.
Visit the Antsokay Arboretum. Stay overnight at La Bella Donna Hotel in Ifaty or a similar place.
Day 16: Relax in Ifaty
Spend your day relaxing on the beach. You can visit the baobab forest or go snorkeling or scuba diving. Stay overnight at La Bella Donna Hotel in Ifaty.
Day 17: Free Day in Ifaty
Enjoy another free day at the beach. You can do more activities or just relax. Stay overnight at La Bella Donna Hotel.
Day 18: Travel to Antananarivo
Enjoy a slow morning at your hotel. After lunch in Toliara, take a domestic flight back to Antananarivo. You will be picked up and taken to your hotel. Stay overnight at Chalet des Roses or a similar hotel.
Day 19: Souvenir Shopping and Departure
Spend the morning shopping for souvenirs like crafts, spices, and vanilla. After shopping, we will take you to Ivato Airport at least two hours before your flight.
