From there, your tour guide will meet you and drive you to your accommodation. Welcome to Rwanda. You will spend the evening settling into your lodge and preparing for the big walk the next day.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Today, you will have the chance to spend time with the gentle giants. These are the endangered mountain gorillas. You will go trekking in Volcanoes National Park, which is the most popular destination in Rwanda. While you are trekking through the trees, you may also see golden monkeys that live in the same park.
You get to spend one hour with the gorillas. You can take many pictures and enjoy the moment before you return from the forest. Afterward, your guide will drive you back to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you can visit a nearby local community to see how people live or just relax at the lodge for the rest of the day. This is a very important part of the 6-Day Rwanda Gorillas & Serengeti Wildlife Safari.
Day 3: Fly to Tanzania
Your guide will take you back to the airstrip for your flight to Tanzania. You will fly directly to the Serengeti National Park airstrip. This saves you many hours of driving on bumpy roads.
