During this 4-day Tsavo and Amboseli Park safari, you will visit two national parks where you can see many types of wildlife, including the Big Five animals, unique bird species, and scenic views with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background of Amboseli National Park.
Common animal sightings in these parks include elephants, buffalos, lions, duikers, warthogs, leopards, rhinos, crocodiles, cheetahs, dik-diks, kudu, giraffes, zebras, and many more. You will see these animals during the game drives.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Helicopter Flight to Tsavo East National Park from Nairobi
You will be picked up in Nairobi and flown to Tsavo East National Park, known for the man-eating lions from the railway construction period. The flight takes about 2 hours and passes over farmland, gardens, and villages. Upon arrival, go for an evening game drive to see different animals and birds. Later, head to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Drive to Tsavo West National Park
Start the day with a morning game drive in Tsavo East, then travel to Tsavo West National Park. Along the way, enjoy views of animals grazing in the open grasslands. These include black rhinos, hippos, buffalos, elephants, leopards, and others. In the evening, go for another game drive in Tsavo West, then return to the lodge for the night.
Day 3: Fly to Amboseli National Park – Afternoon Game Drive
Have an early breakfast and fly to Amboseli National Park. This park is famous for its large elephant herds and views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, located in Tanzania.
After arriving, go on an afternoon game drive. Expect to see animals like African bush elephants, buffalos, impalas, lions, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, Masai giraffes, Grant’s zebras, and birds such as kingfishers, pelicans, herons, egrets, and other long-legged birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and rest.
Day 4: Fly Back to Nairobi with Enroute Game Drive
Start the day with breakfast and a morning game drive as you check out of the lodge. Later, fly back to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at the airport, marking the end of your 4-day Tsavo and Amboseli safari.
