Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara and sunset game drive.
Our driver guide will pick you from the hotel after breakfast. Give you a briefing about your stay in Masai Mara. Set off for Masai Mara, passing via the Great East African Rift Valley. Have a stopover at the rift valley escarpment to capture wonderful pictures. Proceed to Narok City, have a stopover to interact with Masai people. Arrive at the park in late afternoon hours, check-in at the lodge, have lunch and then go for an evening safari drive.
You will begin the search for lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, zebras, gazelles, cheetahs among other wildlife. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 & 3: Masai Mara – Full Day game drive.
These 2 days of game drive in Masai Mara will expose you to one of a lifetime experience to see the migration of wildebeests, zebras and elands, crossing River Mara. The migration takes place in the dry season in the months of June to September. This great migration is the largest animal movement in the whole world and it happens annually, attracting the attention of savannah predators like lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals and vultures, therefore, you will be able to spot them from the smallest area.
You will see other animals including rhinos, elephants, buffaloes, Masai giraffes, gazelles, antelopes, impalas, hartebeests, topis, oribis, birds, beautiful sceneries, among other wild fun. Enjoy picnic lunch near the Mara River to capture the migration scenes and you will also be lucky to see how cheetahs kill topis, how lions bring down a wildebeest, leopards attract impalas.
Day 4: Transfer to Nairobi and departure
You will arise in the morning, have a lazy breakfast and check-out of the lodge. Arrive in Nairobi city in the afternoon. Have lunch and you might do a City tour on complementary or proceed direct to the airport depending on your time of flight. This will mark the end of your 4 Days Masai Mara migration safari.
