After that, your tour guide will be waiting to take you to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in and rest. Later, enjoy a special dinner cruise on the Nile River with a buffet meal and Dervish show. After dinner, return to your hotel in Cairo for the night.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids and Museum Tour

After breakfast, your guide will take you to see the Giza Pyramids, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The complex includes three main pyramids, six smaller ones, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple, where ancient mummification took place. Learn from your guide about the beliefs and practices of ancient Egypt.

Next, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to incredible artifacts including the Hanging Obelisk, statues of King Ramses II, and the grand staircase lined with statues of kings and queens.

After lunch at a restaurant with pyramid or Nile views, head to the Egyptian Museum, which holds some of the most famous treasures from ancient Egypt. After your visit, return to your hotel in Cairo for the night.

Day 3: Luxor and East Bank Tour

After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. On arrival, meet your guide and visit the Karnak Temple, one of the largest religious buildings ever made, built over 4,000 years ago. It was dedicated mainly to the god Amun, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.

Check into your 5-star Nile Cruise and enjoy lunch on board. In the evening, visit Luxor Temple. A walk through the sphinx-lined entrance at night is a special experience. Return to the cruise for the night.

Day 4: West Bank of Luxor

Start with breakfast on board, then explore the West Bank. Visit the Valley of the Kings, the burial place of many New Kingdom pharaohs, including Ramses the Great. This area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Next, see the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of Egypt’s few female pharaohs. Her temple took 15 years to build and has impressive architecture and statues.

Also, visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. Though damaged in an earthquake, they still stand tall. Return to the cruise for lunch and spend the rest of the day on board as you sail onward.

Day 5: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

After breakfast, take a horse carriage ride with your guide to the Temple of Edfu. Built during the Ptolemaic period, its walls tell stories of ancient religion and daily life.

Sail to Kom Ombo to see the double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus. After your visit, sail to Aswan and spend the night on the cruise.

Day 6: Aswan Tour

Enjoy breakfast, then explore Aswan. Start with the High Dam, a modern engineering project that protects Egypt from Nile flooding and generates power.

Visit the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest ever attempted. It cracked during construction and was left in place. Then see the Philae Temple, once at risk from rising waters but now safely moved to Agilkia Island. It was dedicated to the goddess Isis. Return to the cruise for lunch and your overnight stay.

Day 7: Abu Simbel

After breakfast, head with your guide to Abu Simbel. These temples were built by Ramses II. The larger one honors himself and the gods, while the smaller one honors his wife, Queen Nefertari. They were carefully moved to higher ground to save them from flooding.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Aswan. Later, fly back to Cairo and transfer to your hotel for the night.

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Cairo International Airport for your flight home.
