Day 2: Giza Pyramids, GEM, Egyptian Museum, Flight to Luxor

After breakfast, check out and join your private guide to begin your tour.

The Giza Pyramids Complex is one of the most famous places in the world. Built around 2700 BC during the 4th dynasty, it includes the Great Pyramid, which was built by King Khufu. It used 2.3 million limestone blocks and took thousands of skilled workers to complete. The pyramid stood as the tallest structure on Earth for over 3,000 years.

The Great Sphinx is an ancient statue with the body of a lion and the face of Pharaoh Khafre. Between its paws is the Dream Stele of Thutmose IV, added around 1401 BC.

The Valley Temple was built around 2700 BC. It was used for mummification and other burial ceremonies for royal family members of the 4th dynasty.

You will also visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM). It holds many ancient treasures, including statues of Ramses II, Senusert, and Ptolemaic kings and queens, along with many artifacts and displays.

After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to the Egyptian Museum in central Cairo. This museum holds one of the largest collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts in the world. Later, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, check in to your 5-star hotel for the night.

Day 3: Luxor – Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Karnak Temple

After breakfast, meet your guide to explore Luxor.

The Valley of the Kings was the burial site for pharaohs and nobles of the New Kingdom (1570–1070 BC). It has 63 tombs, including those of Ramses I to Ramses X. The valley became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.

The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut is located at Deir el-Bahari. It was built in 1479 BC and took 15 years to complete. It honors one of Egypt’s most powerful queens and has beautiful statues and decorations.

The Colossi of Memnon are two giant stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III. They each weigh 720 tons and stand 18 meters tall. Although damaged in a past earthquake, they still stand today and were known for making a sound at sunrise.

Enjoy lunch on an island and a short boat trip on the Nile. Then visit Karnak Temple, one of the largest religious sites in the world. Built over 2,000 years, it was mainly dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. After the visit, return to your hotel in Luxor for overnight.

Day 4: Train to Aswan, High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk, Philae Temple

After breakfast and check-out, take the train to Aswan. Upon arrival, your guide will take you to explore Aswan.

The High Dam was built between 1960 and 1970 to control the Nile’s water, produce electricity, and improve irrigation. It was built with help from engineers in Moscow.

The Unfinished Obelisk shows how ancient Egyptians carved large stone blocks. Ordered by Queen Hatshepsut, the obelisk cracked before completion and remains in its original location.

Have lunch in Aswan at a local restaurant. Then visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Built in 280 BC, it was moved to Agilkia Island during the 1960s to protect it from flooding. After the visit, check in to your hotel in Aswan for the night.

Day 5: Abu Simbel Temples & Return to Cairo

After an early breakfast (boxed), drive with your guide to Abu Simbel.

The Abu Simbel Temples were built by Pharaoh Ramses II around 1200 BC. The larger temple honors the gods Amun, Ra-Horakhty, and Ptah, as well as Ramses himself. The smaller temple was built for Queen Nefertari. The temples were moved in the 1960s to save them from being flooded by Lake Nasser.

After your tour, return to Aswan for lunch. Later, catch your flight to Cairo and check in to your hotel for your final night.

Day 6: Final Departure

After breakfast, our representative will take you to the airport and help with the departure process. This ends your 6-day journey in Egypt with great memories.
