Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Mombasa & fly to Tsavo East National Park
A professional guide will pick you up from your hotel in Mombasa. You will then take a helicopter flight to Tsavo East National Park, which takes about 1 hour. At the lodge, meet the team and check in before enjoying a tasty lunch.
In the afternoon, relax at the lodge while enjoying views of the park’s grasslands and shrubs.
In the evening, take a guided nature walk with the rangers through the dry savannah near the lodge. During this walk, you may see animals like baboons, warthogs, and Defassa waterbucks. Return to the lodge at dusk for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Full-day game drive in Tsavo East National Park
Start early with breakfast at sunrise. After breakfast, go on a guided game drive across the plains of Tsavo East. You may see animals such as Tsavo lions, black-headed jackals, common elands, black rhinos, and blue wildebeests.
Return to the lodge at midday for a delicious lunch. After lunch, go on an afternoon game drive in central Tsavo. This drive will give you more chances to see animals and birds like kori bustards, lappet-faced vultures, African openbills, common ostriches, and southern ground hornbills.
Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Fly back to Mombasa & departure
Enjoy breakfast early at the lodge. After breakfast, check out and take a flight back to Mombasa, which takes about 1 hour. From Mombasa, you will continue your journey home, marking the end of your exciting adventure.
