Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & pick up from airport, free time at the hotel
Upon early arrival, get a warm welcome to Kenya by your driver guide at the airport in Nairobi city. Leave the airport for relaxation at the hotel within Nairobi capital city. Early arrival and pick up may include a short city tour in the afternoon which includes visiting the Giraffe manor.
Day 2: Nairobi city to Maasai Mara National Reserve (Narok County)
Located in Narok County, Southwestern Kenya. The Maasai Mara National Reserve is one of the spectacular savanna wilderness areas in Africa. The reserve is strategically lying in the Great Rift Valley area and en-route. You will have the breathtaking view of the rift valley. This 1510 sq.km nature reserve shelters abundant wildlife. You will arrive early, enjoy a delicious lunch meal then embark on the afternoon game drive.
After the guided game drive, you will get back to have a relaxed evening at the wilderness camp/safari lodge.
Day 3: Full day in Maasai Mara
A hefty breakfast will be followed by a full day guided game viewing experience. In the vast savanna plains of Maasai Mara Reserve. With company of an experienced guide, look out for diversity of wildlife including leopards, lions, elephants, watch the wildebeest migration, cape buffaloes, gazelles, topis, elands, giraffes, elephants, and bird species. You will also have a delicious picnic meal and proceed with the afternoon game viewing session, look for more wildlife species and more.
Day 4: Balloon tour & cultural encounter
Wake up early and you will catch up with your morning balloon safari which comes with bush breakfast. Enjoy aerial view of Maasai Mara Reserve’s wildlife including buffaloes, zebras, elephants, and other big mammals. Retreat from the memorable hot air balloon tour and you will have lunch, then you will set off for afternoon visit to the Maasai community.
Day 5: Fly to Amboseli National Park
Amboseli is most popular for wide array of animals including lions, African elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, zebras, elands, hartebeest, and birds. Have a leisurely lunch at the lodge overlooking the park and later you will go enjoy an evening game drive or remain at the lodge.
Day 6: Full day exploring Amboseli National Park & wildlife expedition.
With an experienced park, begin exploring Amboseli National Park and its wildlife while capturing the jaw-dropping views of the Kilimanjaro volcano at the background. Today’s animal sightings will include elephants, zebras, hartebeest, buffaloes, lions, zebras, giraffes, and birds.
Day 7: Departure to Nairobi.
A delicious breakfast will be offered at the safari lodge and you will check out. Arrive in Nairobi early, and you will be dropped at the hotel or direct at the airport where you will take a flight back home.
