Detailed 4-Day Kruger Luxury Fly-In Safari Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Hoedspruit airport – Afternoon game drive in Kruger National Park
A tour guide will meet you when you land at OR Tambo International Airport. They will help you board your flight to Hoedspruit Airport.
When you land at Hoedspruit, drive about 52 minutes to Kruger National Park in a comfortable tourist vehicle. Go to your lodge when you arrive at the park and enjoy a good lunch.
After lunch, go on an afternoon game drive in Kruger Park. This helps you see the park’s landscapes and its animals, especially the Big 5.
Enjoy watching the animals all afternoon. At sunset, drive back to the lodge. A tasty dinner will be served before you go to your room for the night.
Day 2: Explore Kruger National Park – Morning & Evening Game Drive
Enjoy a good breakfast at sunrise, served by the lodge team. After breakfast, go on a morning guided game drive through Kruger Park. See the landscapes and many wild animals.
Travelers can spot animals in groups, from African Bush elephants to Cape buffaloes. Enjoy watching these animals all morning. Around noon, drive back to the lodge.
Relax at the lodge and use its features. Later, lunch is served to keep you full and energetic. Continue with an afternoon game drive in the park for more views of animals, birds, and plants.
The game drive ends in the evening. Drive back to the lodge to relax, enjoy a tasty dinner, and stay overnight.
Day 3: Abseiling down Sabie falls & 4WD forest drive
At sunrise, have breakfast at the lodge. Then, take a 4WD forest drive through the river plants of Kruger Park.
Enjoy driving through the forest. This gives rare chances to see beautiful birds in the park, interesting animals, and rare plants found only in South Africa, like riverine forests, mopani shrubs, and baobab sandvelds.
The forest drive takes all morning. Around noon, drive back to the lodge for a tasty lunch.
Then, drive to Sabie Falls near the park. Here, you will do the abseiling adventure. Enjoy exploring the falls and take nice photos, as the area looks very nice.
Drive back to the lodge in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 4: End of safari
The lodge team will serve you a good breakfast very early. After breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive to Hoedspruit Airport.
At the airport, catch your flight back to Johannesburg. From there, you will start your journey home.
