Detailed Hot Air Balloon Safari Kenya Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi & Transfer to Masai Mara
Our professional driver-guide will meet you at the airport, welcome you, and give a short briefing about your safari. After that, drive to Masai Mara National Reserve.
You will stop at the Great Rift Valley for photos and enjoy views of the wide landscape. This is also where you will have your packed lunch as you enjoy the fresh air.
Then continue to Masai Mara and check into your lodge or hotel. After dinner and rest, your guide will explain how the balloon ride will be done if you choose to include it.
Day 2: Morning & Evening Game Drives
Wake up early and enjoy breakfast. Then head to the open plains of Masai Mara for a morning game drive. As you drive through the park, expect to see many animals that make this safari very exciting.
This is also the best time for your optional Maasai Mara balloon safari. A hot air balloon ride over Masai Mara is a unique experience not to miss.

After the morning activities, return to the lodge for lunch and rest before the evening game drive.

Day 3: Nature Walk & Transfer to Nairobi
Enjoy a nature walk in the morning. This is a good option instead of a game drive, giving you a closer look at animals, plants, and birds. You can spot many of the over 200 bird species found here.
Return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, begin the drive back to Nairobi. If time allows, stop at the Super Craft Shop to buy souvenirs. Your driver will then take you to the airport for your flight, marking the end of your 3-day Kenya balloon safari and wildlife tour.
