7-Day Zimbabwe Safari: Hwange, Victoria Falls, and Chobe National Park – This seven-day Zimbabwe safari is planned to give travelers a great experience in Hwange National Park, a well-known wildlife area in Zimbabwe.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer from Victoria Falls Airport to the Lodge
When you arrive at Victoria Falls Airport, a professional guide will pick you up and drive you to the lodge in Hwange National Park. On arrival, you will check in and have lunch prepared by the lodge staff. Enjoy your meal as you take in the views of the park.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lodge while enjoying views of the Zambezi River. Dinner will be served at sunset, followed by an overnight stay.
Day 2: Game Drive in Hwange National Park
After an early breakfast at the lodge, go on a morning game drive in the Sinamatella area of Hwange National Park. You will have a chance to see a variety of animals, including the Big Five.
Many bird species can also be spotted, making the experience even better.
Return to the lodge in the afternoon for lunch. After lunch, head out for another game drive in the Main Camp and Central regions, where you may see elephants, buffaloes, zebras, elands, warthogs, and hyenas.
Return to the lodge in the evening to relax, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.
Day 3: Transfer from Hwange to Victoria Falls – Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River
Enjoy breakfast in the morning before checking out of the lodge. You will then transfer from Hwange to Victoria Falls, a drive of about 1 hour and 44 minutes.
On arrival, you will enjoy a microlight flight over the falls, offering great views from the air.
Spend the morning enjoying the falls. In the afternoon, return to the lodge for lunch and some rest. Later, head to the Zambezi River for a sunset boat cruise.
This is a great chance to enjoy the golden hour, see green landscapes, and spot birds flying along the river. After the cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Full Day at Victoria Falls – Walking Tour & Sightseeing
Start the day with breakfast at the lodge. Afterward, transfer to Victoria Falls to explore the area for the whole day. Take a walking tour along the banks of the Zambezi River to enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature and reconnect with the environment.
Return to the lodge at noon for lunch. In the afternoon, take a short hike to the top of the falls for sightseeing and photos.
Later in the evening, return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 5: Transfer from Victoria Falls to Chobe National Park – Afternoon Game Drive
After breakfast at the lodge, transfer to Chobe National Park in Botswana. The journey will take about 1 hour and 11 minutes.
On arrival, check in at the lodge and explore the surrounding area. You may see buffaloes, elephants, and birds near the lodge.
Lunch will be served in the afternoon. After lunch, go for a game drive in the deeper parts of Chobe National Park, where you may see lions, leopards, jackals, servals, hippos, elands, warthogs, and genets.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight rest.
Day 6: Explore Chobe National Park – Game Drive & Sunset Cruise
Have breakfast early at the lodge. After that, go on a morning game drive in Kowawa and Zoma Pans, where you can watch animals in their natural environment. Later, return to the lodge for lunch and some time to relax.
In the evening, enjoy a boat cruise on the Chobe River. This will give you another chance to see animals and birds along the riverbanks.
After the cruise, return to the lodge for dinner and your final overnight stay.
Day 7: Travel Back Home
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and transfer to Victoria Falls Airport. The drive will take about 1 hour and 11 minutes.
On arrival at the airport, you will board your flight home, marking the end of your safari adventure.
