Day 1: Arrival and First Game Drive
Your journey begins with a flight from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit Airport. When you arrive, your guide will take you by road to RockFig Safari Lodge, where you will stay for the next four nights.
After checking in, you can relax before your afternoon game drive to see your first wild animals.
Days 2 to 4: Game Viewing in Timbavati Reserve
Spend these three days exploring wildlife in Kruger National Park. After breakfast each morning, go on a game drive in a vehicle that holds only four guests, giving you plenty of space to enjoy the trip.
You may see wild dogs, leopards, white lions, and other animals hunting or resting.
After the drive, return to the lodge to relax. You can swim, read, or chat with other guests. In the afternoon, join another game drive to see more animals. You might also spot wildlife around the lodge.
Day 5: Transfer to Mozambique
After your last breakfast at the lodge, leave Timbavati with great memories and head to Mozambique. You will be taken to MQP Airport for your flight to Vilanculos.
When you arrive, your guide will take you to Santorini Resort. Here, you can enjoy the clear blue waters, visit local shops, and explore colorful markets in Vilanculos town.
Days 6 to 8: Beach Activities at Santorini Resort
For the next three days, enjoy many free activities at the resort. These include kayaking, stand-up paddling, snorkeling, beach volleyball, beach cricket, fishing gear, and a 15-minute hand or foot spa treatment.
You can also take a snorkeling trip to Magaruque Island or a guided tour of Vilanculos. These are included in your stay.
For an extra cost, you can choose more activities like spa treatments, scuba diving, boat trips, scenic helicopter flights, deep-sea fishing, dhow sailing, and horse riding along the beach.
Day 9: Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Vilanculos Airport for your flight back to Johannesburg. From there, you can catch your connecting flight home, taking with you great memories from Timbavati and Mozambique.
